David B. Hirsch
President and Chief Executive Officer
David B. Hirsch joined Oragenics in May 2008. Prior to joining Oragenics, Mr. Hirsch operated a boutique legal and consulting practice with a focus on financing and advising emerging technology companies. Prior to starting his own firm, he was a Manager in the Restructuring Group at Deloitte and Touche, LLP in San Francisco, California and an associate at The Cottonwood Group, a venture capital firm in San Mateo, California. He holds a MSIA (MBA) from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, a JD from Drake University Law School and a BA in Economics from Indiana University. Mr. Hirsch is also a licensed attorney in Florida and Indiana.

Dr. Jeffrey D. Hillman, DMD, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Jeffrey Hillman founded Oragenics to commercialize the fruits of 25 years of research at the Harvard-affiliated Forsyth Institute in Boston and the University of Florida. As a Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, Dr. Hillman has taken an extended leave of absence to work at Oragenics on final development of these technologies. Dr. Hillman has authored or co-authored more than 125 publications and textbook chapters on subjects related to the etiology and cure of caries (cavities), periodontal (gum) diseases and other infectious diseases and cancer. Dr. Hillman has demonstrated his management skills by administering tens of millions of dollars in grant funding and supervising graduate students and post-doctoral fellows on a routine basis. Dr. Hillman received his undergraduate training at the University of Chicago (Phi Beta Kappa), his D.M.D. degree (cum laude) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and his Ph.D. from Harvard Medical School.

Brian Bohunicky
Chief Financial Officer
Brian Bohunicky joined the Oragenics in January 2009 as the Company Controller. Prior to joining Oragenics, Bohunicky was the Vice President Controller of Idex Corporation’s Fire, Safety and Diversity Segment from October 2002 to November 2008. In this role, Bohunicky was responsible for managing the financial aspects of Idex’s worldwide fire and rescue manufacturing business. Bohunicky’s global responsibility included eight manufacturing facilities totaling approximately $300M in annual revenue. Bohunicky was the financial leader on acquisitions in U.S., Germany and China, and led restructuring programs throughout his career. During his time at Idex, Bohunicky established operational excellence programs and drove process change to improve profitability and maximize working capital. Prior to joining Idex, Bohunicky had multiple general manager and controller assignments with Flowserve Corporation and Ingersoll Rand Company. Bohunicky holds a BA degree in Economics from Moravian College.

Gerry David
Executive Vice-President, Consumer Products Group
Gerry David brings more than three decades of experience in vast aspects of the natural products and direct sales industry. A seasoned executive, he most recently served as president and Chief Operating Officer of Växa International in Tampa, Florida. Previously, he served as president and Chief Operating Officer of Vitarich Labs in Naples, Florida, where he was responsible for successfully merging the company with a public entity and increased sales by 35% to $20 million and EBITDA by 55% during a 24-month period. David also served as Chief Operating Officer for Life Science Technologies, where he extended the reach of distribution to 50 states and successfully merged the company with a public entity. He was the Executive Vice President International at the Home Shopping Network Direct from 1993 to 1997, managing the company's operations in 72 countries. Under his leadership, revenues exceeded $400 million annually.

Robert T. Zahradnik
Vice President, Product Development
Dr. Robert T. Zahradnik served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Oragenics from July 2005 until December 2007. He also served as a member of Oragenics’ Board of Directors from November 1996 until December 2007. From July 2000 until its merger with Oragenics in November 2006, Dr. Zahradnik was a Director of IviGene Corporation, Alachua, Florida. IviGene was engaged in the business of developing vaccines and therapeutics. From September 1999 to June 2005, Dr. Zahradnik was general manager of ProHealth, Inc. Batesville, Arkansas. ProHealth, Inc. is a manufacturer of nutritional supplements and household and skin care products. From February 1993 to June 2005, he was a partner and general manager of Professional Dental Technologies and Therapeutics, Batesville, Arkansas, an oral care pharmaceutical manufacturer. From February 1986 until June 2003, Dr. Zahradnik was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Advanced Clinical Technologies, Inc., Medfield, Massachusetts, a medical diagnostics manufacturer and technical consulting firm. From June 1979 to February 1986, Dr. Zahradnik was a senior scientist and project manager at Johnson & Johnson Oral Care, Windsor, New Jersey and then at the Johnson & Johnson’s Cambridge Biotech Research Laboratories in Cambridge, Massachusetts. From June 1971 until January 1979, Dr. Zahradnik was a research scientist at the Forsyth Research Institute, a Harvard-affiliated research center focused on basic research into the causes and cures of oral diseases. Dr. Zahradnik is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Boston University with a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry.
